I’ve had my bad share of usernames in the past.
When AOL Instant Messenger came out, I had some horrible Christian usernames (I made a video about it here).
But some of the usernames of the Christians who comment on my posts are… interesting to say the least.
Like today’s 1st commenter…
What a name!
Excellent even in the storm…
If the storm is a grammar test, you’re fucked.
That’s the low-hanging fruit, though.
It’s interesting to me how quickly they’ll say things like “and it says” with “it” being The Bible.
Why should I care what the Bible says?
I can’t help but think that if the vast majority of these people were not raised to believe the bible is the truth, they wouldn’t come to that belief independently.
It would be no different from someone coming up to a Christian and telling them that some other holy book is the actual word of God.
Do you think the Christians would be receptive to that? I do not.
