What’s up nonbelievers, doubters, and skeptics?
Ya know what I’m fucking sick of? Christians coming to my page and saying that god lives “rent free” in my head.
Rent free? Interesting. I don’t think that having to listen to believers yap about their god nonstop all day every day and seeing them try to make laws around their beliefs constitutes “rent free,” but whatever floats your boat, I guess.
As I always say: if you’ll shut up about your god, I will, too.
I wouldn’t have to make the content I do if your beliefs weren’t pushed on the rest of us…
Anyway, here’s some comments!
Hateful comment? ✅
Bible verse in bio? ✅
I actually had an apologist DM me after this to say that bullying is how men make each other better…
For one, this comment was addressed to a woman, not me. Also, there’s a difference between trying to motivate people and being a piece of shit.
I think some people need a god because they’re terrified of the thought that there’s nothing after death and no entity watching out for them.
Being petty is fun, especially when they’re trying to insult your intelligence!
This might be some of the worst logic I’ve ever heard in my life. How many people are actually saying they don’t believe in god because they don’t like something?
This comment (and the many that followed…and the DMs that followed) was so strange. I’ve never said that I hate Christians. Ever. The things that people infer from my posts never cease to amaze me.
Just keep digging that hole deeper, buddy.
If you don’t listen to fictional character A, that means you listen to fictional character B.
That opinion? Rubbish.
“Hopefully something bad happens.” Yikes.
I’m more like Jesus than these people will ever be.
Angels and Giants and Dragons, oh my!
I respect your right to believe; I don’t have to respect the beliefs.
The bar for tolerance seems pretty low:
Don’t burn witches.
Don’t stone gays, blasphemers, or adulterers.
That’s it! Congrats! You’ve passed the Tolerance Exam!
Yes, *I’m* definitely the one being strung along.
Hey…what?
People often ask me to clarify what I mean when I talk about the harm that Christianity can cause. Here goes:
The very premise of Jesus calling himself the son of god and the only way to heaven is divisive.
Christian nationalism in this country alienates those who don’t believe and tries to push their own beliefs into law.
Some families disown children if they don’t believe.
Spouses are told to stay in abusive marriages because of a covenant made before god.
“Spare the rod, spoil the child” leads to child abuse in the name of Christianity.
Hearing voices and thinking it’s god talking to you can cause hella problems in a person’s life and those around them.
And so on.
They really hate when people don’t believe in their gods.
I had some people call me out for being too mean to this dude, but this level of condescension and intentional ignorance needs to be called out.
Seems like a normal, well-adjusted human being.
Discrediting Jesus makes me a Christian? That’s a new one.
How do so many people not know what a fact is?
Carl Sagan ftw.
Thanks, Skeeter. I’ll take that into consideration.
Punctuation has left the chat.
Another typical comment I get is that my parents didn’t love me enough. I was fortunate to grow up in a very loving home and also fortunate enough to have parents who still love me just as much after finding out I don’t believe like they do.
I wish everyone had that.
Dog Bless You!
